By the sounds of it the ref and officials wasn't paying attention
It was a free kick and the ball was dead stopped the player passed it back to the goalkeeper and he did not see mcnulti nipped in. They are claiming they were passing it back to the goal keeper for him to take but he passed it back 20 yards from where the foul was given.
