Without being sarcastic, teams like Grimsby will rely heavily on big away support boosting the coffers.

POTG was 20 quid, if 400 travelled without tickets that's 8 grand, may not seem much but in league 2 I'd imagine it equates to about 8 players weekly wage.

What i can not understand, is the gave us 1800. Let us sell the 1800 all in one end no issue! I can see if they need to know numbers travelling. But to stop all together is bonkers!

I've not taken it out on you one bit. I just politely pointed out why I didn't purchase a ticket when all avenues said you could pay at the turnstiles.

I think you were the one who suggested I should have bought when they went on sale.... clearly stating the obvious nick and it's not something I appreciate xx

I didn't say anybody was taking it out on me. I said taking it out on the person running the social media accounts.

Yep, I suggested why not buy a ticket if you knew you were going the day the fixtures came out and it matched up with plans. Not much wrong with that, it's still not your fault though the safety people have put a stop to it, the same as it isn't CCFC's.

Fuck it and just turn up anyway, i imagine a lot will as will not have read this new information before travelling. I've got in a couple of games before when there was no pay on the day, think Millwall last season was one of them.

I'm hoping it's pay on the day in the home stand as my grandad always pays cash on the day and goes in the main stand, I live away from Grimsby now but there is nothing backing up why tickets to you guys have stopped or whether you can still potd in home stands :/
I don't want to say just turn up and hope they let you in but it wouldn't surprise me if they just let you potd if you just turn up, someone did it to Grimsby last season. They said no potd then 10mins before kick off announced we could??

We are in Cleethorps, met a few here without tickets. The locals have told us they will be pay on he gate regardless they always do. No one will be allowed to hang around outside a ground they want the money.
