His future is a tricky decision both from his own and the club's point of view, at the moment he needs to deliver in order to secure a good contract for the next 3 years or so but the club also has to be wary of his injury record if he is given an improved and extended contract. 12 months ago Sheaf had outgrown us, we weren't able to take the next step that would match his logical career path.
The last year hasnt been kind to him (though he can still be crucial) and the club has progressed whilst his stock has devalued.
If I were him I'd be chomping at the bit for a full season alongside Rudoni and Grimes and I think he will extend. It just makes sense for everyone.

Hopefully he see's the benefit of knuckling down and working hard with one of England's best ever midfielders.If he's focused, fit and firing he's a massive assett, unfortunately that's not always the case but fingers crossed.
