Uwe Rosler went there didn't he? Mates maybe? Knows his reputation?

Either way, good luck to him (and still clear of our starlets!)

Things move on in football, Pressley has brought his own people in which is a good things hopefully means he'll be here a while. The fact SP has proved he isn't shy of giving youngsters a chance of first team football should prove to the kids staying here is the best option.

Ah well he didn't leave due to lack of finances or a rift - what a surprise.

Who knows ? He had what six happy years ,then left .If he left to go there Rossler did'nt have any input. A secondary consideration . Did his

leaving help progress the Higgs/Academy arrangements?

Oh well, let's face it SISU wouldn't have wanted him around too long as his name is an anagram of Ricoh - you know bad memories and all that.

Or turn it around, maybe he was not happy about the stalling & that precipitated his decision to go.

Anyway, he has got a job at a much bigger club, it pains me to say that, but it is now undeniable Wigan are a bigger club than we are & what is more their owner is an honourable man.

It's also an anagram of choir, maybe Gareth Malone had something to do with it

Lots of professional people like to move on after 5-6 years. New challenges prevent them going stale.
He is moving up a division.
Probably getting more money.
Perhaps he felt he had taken the Coventry Academy as far as he could.
He has had the success of seeing lots of players make the first team.
Perhaps the next batch of players aren't as good? Perhaps he doesn't like our owners, who knows?
I don't think we can read too much in to his departure, just one of those things that happen. But he has done a good job for us in his tenure and I wish him well in his new post at Wigan.

All the very best to GR. Done wonders for our Academy and left it in a good state.
