Isn't Masterchef supposed to be moving its studio to the Midlands?

Might be a convenient time to do a soft relaunch with new presenters.

Yeah, that was Andy "Wanker" Street's single claim of success in his tenure as WMCA Mayor!

But good idea - bring back Loyd Grossman - nothing creepy about him AT all!

Paul Hollywood seems a bit suspect and as for Noel Fielding, he's known to be an iffy c**t

It's hard to understand why the BBC didn't just fuck him off years ago. I don't know anybody who watches MasterChef to be hear him go "Ooh that's laverley"

The BBC don't produce MasterChef, they simply buy it from a third party production company and air it on their channels, the same company also made Big Brother and Deal or No Deal and have sold those to Channel 4/ITV etc.

Of course the BBC have had a nightmare few years with the Savile and the Huw Edwards sagas so it is an easy stick to beat them with and because of what has happened in the past it is not a good look and it is only natural that people will come to similar assumptions but in fairness, I am not sure how much of this is actually their fault! Wallace's behaviour will have been under the watch of the production company and not really the BBC

John Torode appearing a little shocked with it all, I find a bit puzzling.

The pair have worked together on MasterChef for nearly 20 years.

He must have known and must have seen stuff surely?

They don't like each other one bit apparently... away from the camera they don't spend too much time together

They commission the programme from the production company, they can ask as part of that agreement for Wallace to be removed (as they have now done).

I've heard they are trying to keep the continuity going as much as possible for future episodes.

Makes sense to replace Wallace with Gromit.

A better line would be "I bet you like it doggy fashion, don't you, Gromit!"

Even if they were just buying it the channels can also add pressure because if they say they're not buying the programme unless a certain person is removed then it puts the production company in a tight spot. If they keep him they may have a programme they can't sell.

Snoop Dogg wants to replace Gregg Wallace on 'MasterChef'

Snoop Dogg has declared himself as an unlikely candidate to step in to host MasterChef, if Gregg Wallace does not return.
