I know i bang on about FGR a lot on here but they really do seem like a progressive club.

They have a great scheme where they give away 400 free shirts to kids in year 3 every season. Apparently its about the age kids lock in their favorite teams, great long term thinking. Just wish we had something similar.

Forest Green Rovers’ free shirt giveaway is back for the fourth season running, with 400 tops up for grabs for children in the local area.

That's probably a shirt for every Y3 kid in the area. Bit different re numbers around here. Anyone who doesn't get one will hate us out of spite (unless they already follow us) Still good on Forest Green

We haven't got enough shirts for the team never mind giving 400 away for free.I do think with the shirt supply or lack of if you have to buy the shirts before selling them in store hence why we have none available we all know what Sisu are like commercially.

They had to wear training shirts for the first couple of games of the season as they were still waiting for their Hummel shirts. Broke the contract and got them elsewhere.

God, I'd love some Hummel kits.

Yep worse than ours too, they have dumped Hummel after they failed to supply any kits for their first 4 home games. Last match they wore a new kit by a UK based manufacturer

If they gave all the Y3 shirts then we wouldn't be able to get one for Conor Chaplin

FGR is a fantastic club. Living in Gloucestershire I have followed their progress over the years and occasionally go. Hospitality costs are excellent, usually around £40 for car parking, seat and meal with first drink free. Their Vegan buffet is amazing. They treat all visitors like family and the players mingle with the fans. They are very much involved in the community. Whenever you go, you feel part of the family. Reminds me so much of JH Sky Blue era ! Please go if you get the chance and do hospitality !

Don't knock the vegan buffet - never seen such an amazing spread.. it was delicious. I had curry although there was a whole range of hot food options. Lots of spicy food ! I was sceptical too, until I tried it !

As I mentioned FGR have had worse kit issues than us. They didnt even have Home kits for the players for the first month of the season. they have ripped up their contract with Hummel due to that and moved to a UK based supplier.
