Beautiful sunshine, good atmosphere, great game and win. over 1900 attendance which means average this season has been over 1500, by far the best supported team in the division.

The crowds must only be that high because of the Wasps feel good factor:sarcasm:

I had a good day I think, don't remember much but I bumped into an old mate who I hadn't seen since a lads holiday to Ibiza in 89

Was a brilliant day and likewise memories are a tad faded

It's been a great season at the BPA managed to get down to 7/8 games with CCFC home matches not clashing! Hopefully kick on again next season.
Big loss this week with Will Hurrell moving to Donny who offered him a full time contract best Cov player by a distance over the last 2 seasons.

2 new fly halfs signed so 4 on the books, good young Irish prop in too!

Hopefully don't lose many more maybe tougher early season getting DR players due to the World Cup & prem sides reluctant to let possible squad players leave!

Good news is Plymouth who are coming down are in financial trouble so won't be splashing the cash like moneybags Ealing but Roslyn Park will be the biggest threat. But I expect Cov to be top 2 next war as long as they don't lose too many & Rundle, Knox & Lespiere stay injury free, pace & tries aplenty, just need to tighten up the defence a lot more.

And hopefully the 2 fixture lists will be kind avoiding too many double home Saturday's for FC & RFC!

Not good news for Cov the main man Rundle breaking his leg!

He will be a massive loss!

Staggers to see the number Cov have bought in over the summer squad up towards 40 only big loss is Will Hurrell to a pro contract at Doncaster, he has been superb last 2 seasons the best player & all the best to him.

Coupled by the loss of Dan I would imagine for a few months!

That's depressing news indeed as both Rundle and Hurrell were central to much of our success last year. I'm beginning to think that all Cov teams are gradually being consigned to obscurity or extinction eventually.

They've made on paper some very good signings few SA & NZ'ers but the gamble as always is will they settle and if they do will they gel!

OK
For any that aren't going to Layer. RD
CRFC at home tomorrow V Blaydon.
May I suggest as many as possible get along to check out our potential new home.
They need a bit of backing as not having an auspicious season up to now.
It does make you wonder If there Is some curse associated.to being commercially Involved with SISU.
