Starting to struggle playing the latest games now, and think it's due to the graphics card. So I'm looking to upgrade and get a new monitor to go with it (4k).

Looking at
Zotac GeForce GTX 1660 6GB Graphics Card | Ebuyer.com
&
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 OC 6GB GDDR5 Graphics Card | Ebuyer.com

This is the current motherboard, I think they both fit it.
MSI 970 GAMING Socket AM3+ 7.1-Channel HD Audio ATX Motherboard | Ebuyer.com

Willing to take suggestions, but have a max budget of about £500 for both graphics card and 4k monitor.

I bought a gaming laptop with 4GB of dedicated graphics because I do video editing. Mine is a GeForce card. No problems at all.

6 GB I would have thought would be plenty good enough.

Don't know so much about motherboards though.

Good luck.
