I was just wondering what everyone's thought were on the national. I love a punt but I'm not the best when it comes to horses

Who are you going for?
How do you bet?
How many horses do you pick?
Do you do outright or E/W?

Morning Assembly will stay all day - and not many of them will
go EW @25/1 and you should make money

Go each way. Will be very hard to pick a winner with 40 horses.

The bookies make special slips for the non betting folk like you! Easy peasy.

Have to agree. Cruelty to horses. It's the kind of spectacle the Romans would have enjoyed.

Haven't looked at this years lot usually have a couple of quid E/W on the 3/4 horses.

Got a 1,2,3 a couple years ago got back £100+ Think I've used up my national luck.

If you bet with bet365, place a EW on the national before 11.59 Saturday and get half your stake back up to 125 per customer, so effectively your getting your EW stake back within 2 hours of placing the bet. Decent.

Been looking at Holywell and Saint Are myself. Holywell needs the rain to hold off though.

Anyone backed any for today? I've had:

Garde La Victoire
Cue Card/Annie Power double
Ivanovich Gorbatov/Cue Card/Annie Power/On The Fringe 4fold

Depending on how the day goes I may have more on On The Fringe.

Finished the day £80 up. Good considering I had 2 losers in there. Had £26 (my profit up until that point) on OTF, money well spent.

Any tips for tomorrow.

Forgot this was on, and so onky managed to bet on the last race, had Kayf Grace 14/1!

I'm sure it will all go down hill from there!

Tomorrow's a bit shite for betting. Vautour and Limini is the double of the day, but odds aren't even 2/1. Fancy Blaklion as well.
