I thought Rudoni was already having a good season so for me it's EMC and Torp.

Don't want to copy your homework but it's Torp and Rudoni, although EMC would defo be up there if he stayed fit.

Pretty much the only one that was performing at a high level for Robins this season, he's a real top player in this division, if he can kick on even more then we are going to be a real problem.
Personally I know everyone thinks he's going back to the left of the front 3 but wouldn't be surprised if Lampard at least tried him in different positions across the front.

Well look he's the best striker at the club and I'd imagine at some point we will try haji through the middle with mason left

I think you've got to try that haven't you? The other CFs while doing a job at the moment still make at least trying that a bit of a no brainer.

Rudoni has always been good but drifted in & out of games a bit. The change in formation has brought out the best in him imo.

What's interesting is he has as many assists this season as he did in his entire time at Huddersfield

That’s crazy if true.

He’s only 2 assists behind fellows in the entire league.

if he gets top assister in the league this season, will there be interest in him, and how much could we get for him

I think I agree with those two. By the end of the season it might be BTA if he performs more like he did on Saturday on a regular basis.

Torp & Rudoni - difficult to go against the crowd.
However worth emphasising that the majority have improved under the new coaching set up .

He's well up there in assists and big chances created. His delivery from corners and set pieces is better than Hamer's, more consistent.

Yeah. Obviously helps that he's a regular set piece taker for us which he wasn't at Huddersfield, but his eye for a pass & weight of ball even in open play is excellent. Still only 23 too which I think is easily overlooked as he's been playing at such a decent level for a while.

Thing with Torp, we’ve always known his ability to strike a ball like the FK on Saturday, but his sudden ability to track runners and physically compete is what’s impressed me the most under Lampard. Both him and Rudoni suit this formation and allows both to arrive in the box regularly

Rudoni has always been very good and was underrated on here for ages. However one fair criticism was his tendency to drift in and out of games. That doesn’t happen now.

Torp has always been one of our best technical players, but it never felt like he was anywhere near where he should be performance wise. FL et al have got him playing up a level. I also think having a sustained run in the team is equally as key to his improvement.

He must be great to have at the moment as he played 3 roles on Saturday and impacted the game from all of them
And fought his corner

Given how good his delivery is it's mental that he wasn't taking set pieces for them.

Lampard said specifically he thought he had a high ceiling.

The change of formation and perhaps a better level of fitness have contributed.

If only because Hamer became obsessed with trying to score from a corner

It’s a shame we didn’t get him before he went to Huddersfield as I remember there was a AFC Wimbledon fan saying we were there and scouting him a lot. We would have picked him up for a fraction of the price. Looks like he went to Huddersfield for about £1m up front with sell on fees

Looks like up front we paid roughly about £3.5m plus then add ons

Thomas you reckon yeah? Haven’t seen that much improvement from him personally. He disappoints me a bit

I’m not convinced by any of our 4 CB’s tbh, they all have their weaknesses. Would have liked to see someone like Michael Keane drop down for game time on loan. Would have been great for us to have got Ronnie Edwards, shame he went QPR.
Who knows how Holding would be has he hasn’t played much in the last few years.
