I am hoping that MR will play Cody and DMC up front to get at teams and score goals.

Then like yesterday on about 60 minutes bring people like Frank on to add to the snapping, charging down, hassling defend from further up the pitch style in order to maintain the lead.

If this happens throughout November and December, then Cody should get match fit. He can find his form out of the eye under the shadow of DMC.

Hopefully then if the worse case happens he will be scoring goals by January. Hopefully by Jan there will also be another striker kicking his heels somewhere who can come.

If this is MR's plan to me it is the most sensible, good management

MR said McDonald would have played in the cup tie on Saturday but was ill mid-week and therefore kept him on the bench.

im happy that MR is pleased with RODS attitude, he was on the bench yesterday, will MR be the first to give rod a chance to shine competitivly?

I liked AT, but thought he was an awful manager. I also like MR, but I think he is a good manager.

He has shown this week that he can handle players, Dropped Reckord but then bigging him up in the press and saying just how good he can be. Baker was definitely trying not to have to many touches last night and move the ball on quicker after Robins comments earlier in the week.

I am just slightly puzzled at the fact Elliot seems to have dropped off the face of the earth.

Can only assume he's injured. Can't believe for a minute that ROD has gone above him in the pecking order.

Not saying there's anything in it, but weren't there a few rumours when he came that he liked his 'pop' a bit too much?

Cody looked rusty last night, but as good run of games is the perfect lube for that.

Didn't the ref stop Cody when he was past the keeper and about to score? If that's him rusty, one would hope the lube will mean goals...one would hope of course!

mr will get it right he apparantley got all the players together and asked who wanted to play for ccfc and was going to give 100 pc so maybe that explains why some players have gone off the radar

I never said it did Greggs.

What i was saying was that if he can get into good positions in the physical state he's in at the moment (which isn't great!), then imagin how he "could" play once he's fully fit! Obviously i said "Could" play rather than "Will" play as im not convinced just yet...

Maybe he should get all the fans together too so can split into two groups. The ones who want to get 100% behind the club and buy into what mr is trying to do. Those who can see the effect he has had already - the introduction of discipline, the extra effort and commitment, the massive upturn in results which hopefully will mean that as confidence returns there is also an upturn in performances. Or those who want to bask in negativity, who want to boo the players rather than get behind them, will always find the negatives to focus on and are generally a big part of what is wrong with our football club.

Personally in robins I believe and I remain positive of a brighter future.

I take it that means I am not allowed to support Robins aswell.

Unfortunately life is not that black or white. However I do think results would be similar.

By comparing Robins to Thorn and saying we would be comparable you are saying Robins is the joint worst manager in this clubs history.

You know top six is on the cards, you know Tranmere won't even get in the play off's.
You know we have one of the best squads in this division.

You know now seeing Yeovil in 11th a draw away to them 1st game in the season was not a bad result.
However the will plummet as the season goes on due to their tiny squad.

I agree that there is a good chance that we would not have had the five game loosing streak if AT had stayed but then I also don't think we would have had the subsequent good run of results. MR has shown he knows how to manage a professioanl football team. Unfortunately AT was lacking in many respects and think we would have been languishing on around 10 points now. The change was needed.

The "decision" saved us from certain relegation.

If Robins achieves top 12 it is a huge achievement.

I agree that three games was far to early to judge the team/squad with so many new recruits - unfortunately many expected them to have gelled within 5 mins of the start of the season. Personally I felt that the first two draws were reasonable results and the bury result was contributed to by the negative atmosphere from the stands.
Unfortunately I also think that as gelled AT had to many managerial weaknesses to get best out of and so if we wanted to move forward needed new manager - agree that should have been dealt with more swiftly once decision made and those lost points might just make the difference at the end of season. I still do believe playoffs are a realistic possibility if we continue on our current form.

There is no point in developing a rationale argument to Mrs Thorn. It's wasted.
