The way this virus has been, it reminded me of World War Z. More the book, the film doesn’t really follow it.

Chinese origin, minus people eating each other.

Having already made Apollo 13 will Tom Hanks make Covid 19. Although he’s not known as a method actor.

Contagion is pretty good. Decent cast and it's based on real life. No zombies.

The death of Beth Emhoff and her son leads to the discovery of a deadly virus. While the US Centers for Disease Control struggles to curb its spread, a worldwide panic ensues.

Take Shelter

A normal everyday family man starts having premonitions and visions of a major natural disaster. He builds a massive shelter, stockpiles food goes mental etc. It's really good.

It shouldn't cost too much as it's a spaghetti western.

Yes, probably one of the most disturbing films I’ve ever seen.

I watched the Pianist last night. Puts this shit into perspective. I know Polanski is a dirty bastard that needs locking up but the film is a work of art and Brody well deserving of the Oscar.

Started watching the 1970s BBC apocalyptic drama "Survivors" last night. All 14 episodes on Youtube, though a bit grainy. Was one of the most memorable programmes of my formative teenage years.
