I can't decide whether I should be happy with the start we've made!
I went to Yeovil, and looking back, I feel we should of won the game quite comfortably given the chances we had. Although we didn't play particularly well, especially first half.
I didn't go the other night but I think any point against Sheff Utd is going to be a good point this season.
I think the team does need time to gel, and we do have the makings of a pretty decent starting X1.
Alot of people booed at the final whistle at Yeovil which I personally don't understand, so there are obviously alot of unhappy Cov fans at the mo!
Any thoughts guys?

Steve this question has been raised, but personally my view is that we have had a good start. I didn't expect us to pick up any points from the first two games. That has been my opinion since before the season started. I expect us to get the full three points on Saturday though and our season to start in earnest from here.

well if u listen to thorn its a cracking start . a draw at yeovil and a draw in our first home match and he said we have laid down a statement! 2 points from 6 and just 2 goals isnt the kind of statement i was looking for, maybe he means we are gonna be the draw specialists. either way i find it a strange quote yet again from mr thorn

Statements like this worry me. Did you really expect our new squad of league 1 level players to go out and pummel everyone? 0 defeats from three competitive matches is a cracking start.

Although the performances haven't been great, it has been an unbeaten start to the season, which is good in any division. There's a bit of pressure to get the first win, but i'v no doubt that will happen this weekend. I've gone for a 3-0 win against Bury, such is my confidence. 5 points from the first 3 games is acceptable. Anything less, probably isn't good enough.

Yes apparently the bar has been set. Must be the national limbo championships he was talking about.

I'm disappointed as we've not played well over all and should have closed out the game on Tuesday to get all 3 points. This season feels very similar to last with a lot of ifs and maybes but not enough points. A win on Saturday will help steady my ship.

2 points from 2 games, according to last season we can just about fight off relegation with that. so yeah, a brilliant start.

Yeah thorn seems to be happy. I think I'm just happy we haven't lost the first two and there seems to be something to build on

Given it's right at the start of the season and considering the performances of both us and the opposition it's an OK start - could have easily been better with just a bit of luck - so not great, not crap just OK

indifferent.

on the plus side we are unbeaten etc....
but on the other hand we cant even beat Yeovil, not kept a clean sheet, and have dropped points at home.

anything other than a win Saturday and its a poor start. win Saturday and things dont look too bad.
