The sooner we get those two in the line up and some big signings,

It needs to be back to basics for Lampard. Back to 4-2-3-1 with solid back 4, perhaps Allen in midfield again ready to re-integrate Wright and EMC in the team.

He needs to stick with one striker and that has to be Simms. At least until Wright and EMC return.

Agree with all, though I'm not sure Allen will be here come end of January. Interested to see how the window goes.

He’s another on an expiring contract so on principle, I’d cash in. There is a risk we’re cannibalising the CMs if we let him and potentially Sheaf go in one window.

If there’s a lot of funds being made available and a plan to recruit replacements, fantastic!

Wright being injured makes me wonder how it would have been if Vik ever got injured because at least we have a few goals elsewhere in this team

Allen was anonymous first half, better second, but not the answer. We should move on.

Amazing how a defeat blows all perspective out of the window. Godden - excellent finisher in his prime. Patently gone in the legs in his final season and could not play a role.

No he didn't. He was an intelligent player, just as Waghorne was. But neither had the legs to be effective in the last few seasons.

Spaghetti legs, popadom hands…King has to stop shopping for players when he’s hungry.

Vik got injured and stopped scoring the last few months of the PO season, we just kept playing him.

Godden was miles off the level. It was embarrassing watching him by the end.

Football history is littered with players playing while injured. They suffer after fans like you have forgotten about them.

Well yeah, Gyokeres had an injury but look at Haji his ankle was that done in he couldnt play. Sheaf is a comparable to Vik as he’s been playing on injections, merely commenting if Vik spent the period of time that Haji has spent out not playing this season
