He’s a good finisher but let’s not kid ourselves. Him and Gyo just don’t work together up front, and Gyo offers us so much more.

Yes, it's weird. The team create a lot more overall when he isn't playing.

Gyo worked his bollocks off again but had a weird tendency to avoid going for the shot in what seemed good positions for it. Shame really

We probably wouldn't have created those chances if Godden was playing.

He desperately needs to realise he also has a left foot.

Don’t think you can write them off as a partnership yet. Needs a prolonged run. 10/15+ games and both fully fit.

The problem is more behind the strikers than with the strikers themselves

Anyone know if hes back for Tuesday?

3 weeks since his op then, youd think he would be almost there at least?

Weirdly enough he was in the bay next to me at Johnny Reay's about an hour ago. Said he is still a few weeks away from training. Looked good in golf clothes though, very expensive clubs and was wearing golf shoes (which i thought was a bit strange considering it was just the driving range). Just thought i'd drop that quick update.

Probably the reason the club haven’t gone for the play offs knowing he’s out for longer if you aren’t jerking our chains

Not sure which image is more weird, the thought of Godden in a Pringle and plus 4s or Greggs smashing one with an owl on his shoulder.
