A quick check shows Godden scored 20 goals that season, 16/17 at Stevenage. A young Walker got 3 in 8 appearances. So not Shearer and Sutton, but hopefully know each other's games a bit.
From what I can gather: Walker played ten games on loan between August and when he went back in Jan and scored 3 with 1 assist. He seems to have been injured for most of October and November though

Yeah, they didn't play together as much as I assumed they had. Some previous experience together is better than none though. Both are creative and bring other players into the game well. Reasons to be optimistic about that pairing I think.
Godden holds the ball up well. See his sterling efforts at the start of the season on his own. I fancy they will be a very adequate partnership in this division.
Walker created the chance for biamou yesterday and seems a pretty good player with his back to goal. Godden is a natural box finisher. They should do pretty well together really.
