Faux derby due to Forest and Derby being less interested in them than Villa are in us and a bunch of chavs who like to use it as an excuse to get excited and fight. Personally if we could only win one out of the two away games then I would take a 5-0 basing now in exchange for a 1-0 win at Bristol City.

Fwiw last time I went to Leicester we were 3-0 down after about 20 mins (day after the Doyle punch up) and we were awful. Never left a game so early and not been back since.

You haven't been following city very long then? The main rivalry during the 80s was Leicester. Villa was a 90s fad. Anyhow, Leicester away is always a good day out. Looking forward to the game. 50/50 cov/leicester where I work so some top banter this week. Called into the TO this morning to get a couple of extra tickets. Sold about 1000, but sales are picking up and they are proabably going to ask for more tickets tomorrow. 3 1/2 days and pay on gate and we should have 2K there (for those that care about such things).

Banter is okay but when it just results to insults and slagging each others towns off it just comes across as childish, immature and to be perfectly honest shows a lack of intelligence.

There are few certainties in life:

1. Death
2. Taxes
3. In the lead up to to Cov-Leicester game a load dullards will feel the need to tell everyone they don't care and that it isn't a proper rivalry.

Two large one-team cities just 20 odd miles from each other - of course it will matter to some people because they will work with and live next door to fans of the other club. Not everyone will care, fine. But why not just let those of us who do give a toss have a bit banter without all the whining about what constitutes a proper football rivalry?

We all hate leicester Derby forest villa Birmingham to be honest we all hate each other on match
day so ur right for people to say there not bothered is idiotic,to be honest I never want to lose and will hate whoever we play but this is a Derby and people do care especially those that say they because why would you bother saying you don't on a message board you could just not say anything.
