That stage in the game, midfield shouldn't be letting him in that position to shoot

We had two midfielders goal side of him. Because they both commit themselves to the challenge he ends up with the space to shoot. Most times he wouldn't score from there though. A good strike.

O'Brien hesitated (probably not wanting to concede a free kick, unfortunately a free kick would've been the lesser of two evils on this occasion).

It's a good point against a team who are strong at home.

Great strike but how Kelly was allowed so much time and space is beyond me. As for that RCC save, sensational and could well be a contender for save of the season

Telegraph website, stunning save, there are times when you take a yellow card, that was one of them.

If we had someone like Armstrong playing for Vale we'd of won that by 3 or 4. Best goal and best save in same match.

We have and he missed a couple of good chances for us to go 2 or 3 up.

I agree and have said it was a good away point on another thread. I know we are desperate for a win but sometimes it takes a few games to turn things around after a bad run. It doesn't just happpen.

Thanks saw it on the CT site earlier.

Very tired looking defending for their goal, our number 16 I think (Rose with the wild hack before the guy scores)

I liked the reaction of the fan behind the goal when RCC saves the free kick, whilst whoever he is with just claps at what a great save it was.

That ball over the top for their guys for the start of RCC 2nd double save is sensational!

Would have back AA to bury his chance superb work by him to get into that position though!
