There have been quite a few posts about our lack of goals over the season, and comments like where's the next goal coming from?
Six teams have scored fewer goals than us, Luton (36), Forest (34), Birmingham (32), Derby (31), Sheff W (35) and Wycombe (32)
Further to that Millwall, Bristol C, Preston, and Rotherham have all only scored a couple more than us (41).
Considering our main strike force has been out ill or injured for a good part of the season, I think 39 goals is not too bad.

Yeah a lot of our fans would prefer a 20 goal a year striker rather han 4 players getting 5 each. Its really weird

Less goals but more points than some of those. 1-0 always gets 3 points, we can't always win by more

Interestingly we’ve already won more league games this season by more than 1 goal than we did last season

2019/20-4

Wycombe (a) 4-1
Tranmere (a) 4-1
Southend (a) 2-0
Bristol rovers (h) 2-0

2020/21-5

sheff Wednesday (h) 2-0
Rotherham (h) 3-1
Brentford (h) 2-0
Bristol city (h) 3-1
Barnsley (h) 2-0

To be fair, last season’s fixtures finished in March!

true but it’s still only April and we’re 18 league places lower.

I see what you mean, but technically we’re 7 league places higher! And 2 of those results have been in April. But our way last season wasn’t to smash teams, so I imagine we wouldn’t have had many more results by 2 clear goals.
