Paterson and Thomas were special moments, but has to be Asante for goal of the season.

Got to be Paterson. Incredible technique, and up there with one of the greatest moments of last 25 years.

Did enjoy Wright's first against Sunderland tho.

BTA's was great, but without that win against portsmouth, i dont think we'd be in the playoffs

Hamer's free kick against us at Bramall Lane. Not celebrated like that for a long time

Context - Thomas v Stoke and Rudoni v Boro.
Quality of strike - BTA.

It has to be BTA's if its about the goal and not the situation. Hands down his.

Paterson's technique/context outdoes BTA for me, though I can see the argument for both.

BTA - can probably count on one hand how many players in today’s era of English football would even attempt that kind of shot

Any compilation of all goals scored this season? Could help jog some memories including my own. But off the top of my head Simms had a very nice header climbing over the back of a defender and squeezing over through the onrushing gk from close range, vs Blackburn.

Just suddenly remembered Simms goal vs Wednesday in the 90+ min to win the game.
Great presence of mind and hustle to put the gk under pressure and force an error.

1. BTA vs Swans
2. Paterson vs Pompey
3. Torp vs Luton
4. Thomas vs Stoke
There are probably a few better than number 4 including Torps FK vs Watford, but that goal vs Stoke made me hit the ceiling so it's a personal favourite.

Rudoni’s second against Boro. Haven’t celebrated a goal more since Hamer’s iconic goal at Wembley vs. Luton.

Good, if he put his laces through it, it would probably of sailed over the bar.
