The stuff Sunday league keepers are made of!

I was always liable to fuck up on a Sunday morning. I'd always make a world class save that was destined to go in, but a blunder was always imminent.
I remember on 2 separate occasions I pulled off a great save only to tip the ball onto the bar for it to come back and fall at the feet of a striker with an empty net to shoot at!
My worst ever though,
Whitley Common, striker timed his run perfectly, let the ball come over his shoulder and hit it 1st time. Made a great point blank save (one of my best ever) but because of the speed and how close he was I could only parry it up in the air. As it came back down to me I was losing balance and falling backwards, only to flap at it and bundle it into my own net!!!

It’s very odd, it’s like a glitch in a computer game!

I like his stance at the end of it, after the ball was in the net.

Suddenly looks like he is facing a penalty.

Yes it does but like isss suggests he is frozen like a glitch a yard behind the line. Bizarre. Even burge leaves his line more quickly.
