Gmk has become a sad clique that barely engage. The lack of scrutiny over recent court case and 'tail between the legs' return to the Ricoh should have given a few pause for thought, but no.
Bizarrely they often refer to SBT in condescending tones. 

Are you referring to ACL there?

Seen a lot of that mentioned, but seems that Sisu have got pretty much everything that they wanted from ACL.

Though shouldn't be about "winners" and "losers" now, just playing football back home.

I welled up at dadgad's post, I have to admit. Mel Gibson couldn't have drunkenly screamed it any better.

Have SISU got what they want?
Or have they just had to compromise to ACL's original compromise?

Well thank you SBT for your hospitality but I'm going back to where I belong. Will browse from time to time to see how Nick is handling you all and some of the insightful posts from Grendel, Torchomatic and Otis.

During the 'Ricoh Row' the posters on GMK had a balanced approach to the topic.

On SBT it was 80% completely against SISU only when in reality the blame together lied with SISU, ACL/CCC and FL. It was only really Nick, Torchomatic and Grendel (from memory) that agreed with the latter.

Coughs politely and glares in general direction of poster.

I might try GMK, though it would have to go some to beat SBT,as you can't beat some of the very heated debates on here. I bloody love them

Golden rule, never come on here on a Friday/Saturday night after one or two weekend whiskys.

They asked for a short term deal, ACL said no.

They asked for independent mediation, ACL said no.

They asked for a share of match day F@B(apparently getting 20% of it now, so OSB said), ACL said no.

ACL also said there was no chance of a return to the Ricoh if they continued with the JR appeal.

JR appeal going ahead, and we're back at the Ricoh.

It's good that there has been negotiation, but if those things can(apparently) be agreed now, then why not before we left in the first place?

Back in the day used to have some seriously good(and serious) debates on there, as well as just calling each other cunts of course.

A lot of people left and came over to here to reinvent themselves as passionate anti-Sisu campaigners, after being their most avid fans though.

I do tend to have a whisky now and then weekdays , especially if we have a match during the week and we lose.

I lack self control

Well you know, being a football forum based around a football club it would be good to talk about football sometimes.

There are certain users who never post about the actual football, some have also gone missing since we moved back.

Some may have an agenda which is overtaken by events.
I do not, your point is irrelevant.
It is certainly not your job to tell, or even suggest, what any poster should be posting.

He's the owner of the site dude, it's always been his role to suggest what people should and shouldn't talk about. The stricter moderation here is one the the many things that make it better than GMK, the other being the server.

It is not even that, people can have their opinions so it isn't down to me to tell people what they can and can't say but with the site being about football it is quite nice sometimes to talk about football

I'll be honest, I skipped right to the last page and have no idea what the entire conversation is about.

But as Admin, it is your job to tell us what we can and can't talk about.

Or there wouldn't be so many deleted posts

I have never told you what to post, but it is interesting how you don't post about the football, it isn't hard to spot about agendas. Most people talk about both the politics and football, some talk about just the football but not many JUST want to talk about the politics side and not the football. The football is why we are all on here after all.

My point was that Dadgad only seems to post ONLY about the politics and never about the football

Yes, our love of the game is what unites us......but to entertain the idea that all actions are not political is naive. The less politics interferes with the game the better IMHO, but we must know that politics is critical both to its expression and enjoyment.

I had fun with them a few times. They all seemed to know the same facts and the place would go into meltdown when they were shown their facts to be false

perhaps you'd like to link to some of your old posts telling everyone it would all end in tears if we backed SISU Lord? I mean, it's been awhile since you beat us all with that stick hasn't it? Jesus, you crow about it nearly as much as NW....

Prefer linking the old posts where people said that we were stupid to even question Sisu to be honest.

One thing about them, they're always 100% convinced that they're right.
