Legend. Shame he's a Dingle. Seeing him live is on my bucket list.

If anyone's there can you tell Lars to get a haircut. It's gone mate, deal with it, move on and make an appointment at the barbers.

Fed up of seeing 5 second shots of groups playing, no visual continuity at all. And what's all the bollox with the BBC doing their own patio gig? I want to watch the main stages. Too much bloody smug presenting for me too - rant over.

Despite the nay sayers I enjoyed Metallica (from the comfort of my sofa in front of the TV) and the crowd seemed to also.

I enjoyed The Pixies also. Shame that the BBC only showed 3 songs from their set. Loved the fact that the drummer can live with his age, came on looking like a geography teacher and then killed it.

Metallica set was awesome, and if you don't like the coverage get a ticket and go it'll be the best £200 you ever spend it's truly a special place.

Metal/heavy rock, just isn't my thing at all and I don't really know Metallica's songs, so I thought I would allow them the benefit of the doubt and give them a try.

I could only last about 25 seconds and then then changed channels.

Just not for me. I really enoyed Elbow and Arcade Fire though. Thought both were excellent.

Glad it hasnt though, a refreshing bit of positivity to put a smile on my face.

A truely magical place and gutted i couldnt make it this year due to work.

I'll be back next year though

They are always awesome live. Great band. Just hope they don't butcher the production on their new album like they did with Death Magnetic.
