I've heard a lot of fans complaining that Pressley is a crap manager. He has been in charge for a month and people are already passing judgement. He hasnt been able to buy his own players yet, or even his own loan players, so he hasnt really had enough time to change things. The embargo has stopped him changing this squad so basically he's playing with Robins' and you have too take into account the amount of injuries to our 1st players he's had. Wood, Adams, Jenno, Baker, Leon, they've all missed key games since SP took over. I for one will not pass judgement until at least November, when he's brought in his own players, brought in his own tactics and formation and put his mark on CCFC. I havent agreed with some of his subs at first, but those subs have ended up making an impact of the game. Like when Moussa was taken off and Wilson brought on. I thought it was an awful decision, but he goesnt and scores the equaliser. He doesnt make many subs and sometimes leaves them a little late, but they make an impact. So i cant understand why people are saying he is a bad manager after a month in charge, with another managers team and no way of bringing players in, so i think we should just wait until November to pass judgement

Agree at least give him a chance. The team is depleted at the moment and there is a lot of off field trouble to deal with. Even I will say yes the football has been boring but that is because of: poor pitches for 1 so we cannot pass the ball very well, the off field problems must be a distraction, we are missing key players in key areas, he is trying to implement his tactics which takes months of training.

I will give him until the end of next season before I call him a bad manager or a good manager.

If the takeover gets completed he might not even see the start of the season.

If we get taken over and and with so much money involved and hopefully a decent transfer kitty to spend for the long trek back to the premiership, then new owners will want a top man rightfully so absolutely guaranteed and Steven pressley would be far to great a risk
It would be unfair to say Steven Pressley is not a top man but certainly he is not tried and tested in the English league, and I would have thought that they may want to go for someone with plenty of pedigree and experience and a manager that has actually won promotion in the past somebody such as Neil Warnock, who may be tempted even though he is supposed to be retiring or someone of his calibre at gaining promotion
None of this of course is the fault of Steven Pressley and his ability, as someone mentioned he is currently working in unbelievable circumstances and could find himself not only out of a job but also with little compensation if he is extremely unlucky if the staff contracts are terminated due to administration, and new contracts are issued.

Considering everything else that's been going on then that's not a bad record as such, just not too sure yet about the quality of the football but then again that will have been influenced by the off-the field activities. All other things being equal, and I note the comments about new owners sweeping clean, then I am tending towards giving him a longer run. Juries not out yet.

And that's without a recognized Goal scorer but typical of City fans lose 1 game and your shit

Clarke played and scored in the first game so technically it's w2 d2 l2 without a recognised goalscorer...

Sorry I'm being pedantic.
