I quite like PLAY UP SKY BLUES. It's quite unique and it couldn't be mistaken for anyone else

Make sure you get them little charity tubs with the slots at the top. And make it clear everyone knows what your trying to achieve.

All the little details could make the difference between someone putting a few quid in or not.

I'll gladly chuck a few notes in. I wouldn't mind seeing a responsible adult running it though. No offence.

chris, can you not get in touch with GMK and combine efforts, as long as they agree no GMK sponsorship. it is after all a coventry city flag!

i like coventry city, then crest with 18 83 either side and sky blue army.

Why not have the ccfc crest, blue and white flag then sky blue army on the bottom and up the sides pusb that way everyone wins

I understand what you're saying Cookie, I'm not taking offence.

Heres another idea. Its just the same as the other on but with 1883 on it.

I remember against Chelsea they busted a massive one out that nearly filled that stand!

It was ok though. The Sky Blues Trust had one that covered 2 seats so we were sorted!

Fair play mate it's nice to see you putting the effort in, if you're there at the tunnel near Tesco's on Saturday i'll be there to put some money in for the cuase, btw if you don't mind me asking what are the definitive sizes it's going to me and how much money needs to be raised and how much have we raised so far? (Sorry for all the questions)

we have raised £180 so far but not cash in hand, the flag is going to be either 12 by 6m or 10 by 4 depending on how much is raised, and the 12m one is £1542 and the 10m one is £1040.

and sky blue andy, i am going on the rdio tomorrow to record pre recorded message nd it will be played throughout the week.

Time To Fly The Coventry City Flag
By Chris Connolly

A small group of Coventry City supporters have started a fundraising- campaign.

This campaign is to raise money to purchase a giant flag at either twelve metres by six or ten metres by four which can be unveiled at home and away matches.

The idea started on the Sky Blues Talk forum and over £150 has so far been raised in the five days that the campaign has been running.

More money in order to make the flag a reality is needed and at Saturday's home game with Leeds United, a few of the group, will be on the underground side of the Ricoh Arena tunnel up to an hour and a half before kick off, looking for donations which will be gratefully accepted.

You can't just ask people to send money to your paypal mate.

You need a specialied account and what not.

If you started a dedicated bank account for it that might help. You could just post the sort code and account number and people could fire in a few quid if they wanted. Plus you could keep all the donations nice and safe in the bank!

What stand will the flag be in for home games? Telegraphs or Blocks 15/16 or around the Tesco stand?
