Before I spend hours researching, has anyone looked at getting to Austria to watch the pre-season fixture?

Look on the Quantas website for flights, went a few years ago Sydney is the main City but I preferred Melbourne personally!

"Throw another shrimp on the Barbie mate!"

Hope that helps.

That is totally unfunny.

I think you should get in contact with the club as we did a few years ago. They put us in contact with the agency that booked the trip and we were able to work out a deal with them.

Still currently trying to make arrangements. Due to the fixture change (we'd planned for it to be the Friday) we're having to have another look.

That said I'm currently chilling I Majorca lounged round a pool so it's not being done this exact minute. This is my time

Sw88 is brilliant for his match updates, friendlies and all.

Really looking forwards to his (error riddled) updates again real soon.

Not a bad drive. Straight on the chunnel. Through Belgium. Through Germany and you are there. Just over half a day without stops. Then you have your car with you to travel where you need.

I was hoping to be able to go. But have been left in Limbo. My consultant has said that I can go back to work but only on very light duties. But work are trying to decide if they want me back. So I don't know if I need another sick note or not. Might be able to do a last second trip though.

Best I've found (albeit a quick, and very last minute search) is go from Gatwick Thirsday, flying to Munich, get a transfer to Graz, which is 4 hours, then get a train to the game on the Saturday. Return flights though leave at 9am and transfer is 4 hours so not keen on that early start!

Hotel, flight and transfer all in with Thomas Cook is £438 pp

What's with the attitude, he's hardly showing off .
Personally I'm bloody jealous and would rather be where sw88 is than here with its endless black clouds.
Take a chill pill for christs sake.
Have a nice holiday sw88, you deserve it after watching the skyblues all season

Firstly, it was said in jest and why do I need someone like you to tell me what to do? If I want to send a message to someone on here why do I need your permission?

I could take 7 in the motor I would use. Would cost me about £350 return. And that is in luxury.

And enough room still to bring back a couple of hundred bottles of wine to pay for the journey

I second that, I also believe SW88 is a multi millionaire and will one day purchase CCFC

Cheers Rev!

It's only a couple of days and as it looks like I'll be giving the Austria trip a miss at short notice it is annoying as I could have extended this stay!

That'll teach me for once again trying to arrange my summer around the club. Did the same for three years now hoping the club would be better organised. Don't think I'll bother next year

Let's not fall out. Or atleast wait until I'm out of this 30+ degree heat before we do

Obviously too late for this year but in future they should consider making a package available to fans. Say flights, hotel, ticket for friendly, attend a training session, some sort of meet and greet with the players.

You are not getting off that lightly!

The very least you can now do is wait until game time and then make a report up as you go along.

Oh .. hang on, isn't that what you do when you are actually at a game anyway?

Does anyone know the 20 players he has taken, would be interested to know the younger ones who have gone i know Stevenson, Harries, Shipley, Dev KE and Leahy have. Would think its an indication of who TM thinks is capable of stepping up to 1st team this season.
