Just 15,200 sold overall including the 4900 Sunderland fans.

Biggest club we've played at the Ricoh since 2011 and will have a third of the crowd. Don't let this feel and look like a home game for Sunderland in front of the TV cameras.

Don't go up the pub because 'it's on TV' and spend the cost of a ticket on shite beer.

Having the TV cameras on the side they are will make it look like a home game for Sunderland

To be fair, that's still a decent home turnout based on last season's and this season's attendances, particularly as it's on Sky. Agree though - the more that come - the merrier. I shall be there and bellowing nonsense as usual!

If it’s anything like most of their home games last year the majority of them will have left at half time.

Biggest club since 2011? What a load of shite. They're no bigger than Wolves, Sheffield Utd or Birmingham who we've played since then.

I'm away on holiday so not going

None of those brought numbers Sunderland did. Wolves never played at the Ricoh since we were relegated.

Birmingham are certainly not a bigger club that Sunderland either.

Tv for me in fact might record it go out and have a few scoops at £3.15 a go and have a laugh with my mates and not pay £40 plus £20 (for my daughter) for the Legends lounge and pay £4.40 plus for shit beer and £4 for a dry pie that is dryer than a nuns crotch and get er in doors to drop me off and collect me.
I used to do it week in week out but sadly can’t afford it anymore recently work has slowed up.
Enjoy the day and enjoy the sun the smell of freshly cut grass and the whistle when the ref starts it all!
Oh and the booming speakers that no fooker can disifer!

Home numbers haven't been great in our history, but the last 2 years have been pathetic.

Stoke at home managing around 10k home fans, small crowds late on last season despite our first top 6 finish and 14k home fans for our first ever play off match show people of Coventry will do anything not to support the team at home.

Made even more remarkable by the fact we took 9k to MK and could have sold more, selling 5k to Brighton in an hour and of course (tried not to mention it) the 80,000 we took to Wembley across two seasons.

Despite the lack of interest in tomorrow's game, I'm sure we'll sell 3000+ for the away match in Sunderland.

Wolves have played us at the Ricoh twice, 2006 and 2009.

Birmingham brought just under 6,000 the last time they played at the Ricoh.

The Ricoh has never felt like home and post wasps even less so. I hate the place and know plenty of others who feel the same.

True.

However, I'm talking since we were relegated from the Championship.

You are also forgetting about the cockroaches in charge who have also added to the lack of numbers with the antics they have pulled over the years.

I would agree with you but for us still to pull in fook all fans for our first playoff game ever was atrocious. I think we need to accept we're just not that well supported and 32,500 is too big for us.

Yep. Tis for us....for now.

We got to the Championship and Premier and we would be getting games close to capacity, or well over 20,000. Villa, Man U, Leicester, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs.

Games at least approaching 20,000, Birmingham, WBA, Leeds, Forest, West Ham.

Yep, would agree with that. Championship football would get close to if not above 20,000 depending on who we were playing of course. But Rotherham et al it would probably be more like the Status Quo of 12-13000.

Yep.

Bottom line is for big games the Ricoh wouldn't be too big.

25,000 would probably suit us better, but it is what it is.
