ML said their is no return to the Ricoh on a landlord/tenant basis on CWR this week, he also said they need to get an independent valuation and so do CCC so there is a starting point for negotiations on the freehold.

clearly CCC are in no hurry to do this as lets be honest, they don't need to sell and don't have to sell.

Our illustrious owners want to buy and been saying this since day 1 of ownership of the club from memory, also from memory they have never had an independent valuation of the freehold commissioned or indeed tabled an offer. funny I've bought 3 properties in my lifetime and each time i had to make an offer.

could the trust use some pennies from the fighting fund and get a fans independent valuation on the free hold site carried out? is their anything stopping them?

it seems our owners have no understanding off how the property market works so should we give them a helping hand by taking the 1st step for them?

I think it would cost more than you think SBT to get a commercial valuation.. and besides would you make the valuation known directly to SISU, or via a third party? Neither option seem to hit the mark in terms of SISU acceptance criteria as they duck and dive, bob and weave their way to freehold ownership.

Sadly, I fear the trust has been left with little choice but to spend a good chunk of its money on legal fees. :( All so unnecessary (and I'm not blaming the trust for that).
