Anyone watching tonight?

Team has just been put out. Looks like it could be the Christmas Tree formation:

I'd say 3 at the back. Walker and Bertrand as wing backs.

It will be five at the back a formation most don't regularly play, terrible manager

Christ almighty. Good to see all the good that 25 years of Sky money is doing the English game.

They look there for the taking at the back.

If our decision making was a bit better we could be 1-0 up by now.

Constantly gives the ball away. Apart from him we've played quite well. Unlucky not to be winning. Alli should have scored as I type.

Alli is going to be some player. Only 20 years old, if his development is managed properly he could be in the worlds top 10.

We should be winning this.

I really hope we do win, I'll be in Berlin on Friday and it would be nice to have something to brag about to my friends who will inevitably do the same to me if we don't.

Seems talented but has done nothing at the very highest level yet.

Half time. We should be 2 up. England OK, Germany complete toilet.
Livermore should never play for England again. Alli and Lallana are class. Although Alli should have buried his chance.

Watching it with Spanish commentary ...
England are truly pathetic! Two golden opportunities, one hits the post and no-one bothered to follow-up, another blasted straight at the goal keeper when it would have been easier to put it either side.
I lost count of the number of times we had an opening to move forward but they hestiated and ended up passing it sideways or backwards.
I know this is a friendly and not our first-choice squad, but I cannot foresee us ever winning a major tournament.
And why the hell isn't Jermaine Defoe playing?

Good, letting him learn his trade and adjust to the level is how young players should be handled.

Hmm pathetic?? Really?? We look dangerous. I'd say the Germans were pathetic first half.

The lad is 20. Plenty of time. Also depends what you call highest level. Champions league level he hasn't really had much game time. I'd say premier league level he's damn good.

Yes but at this level you must capitalise on such a poor performance.

I absolutely agree. No excuses for us not leading this game. Doesn't mean we're pathetic though.

I'm no big fan of Hart but I can't see how he wouldn't improve Man City immeasurably
