We play so well without Rooney bogging us down. It was like watching a completely different team, fluid, inventive with attacking ideas from multiple areas. If Hodgson brings Rooney back, it will be a disaster. He has never delivered in any major tournament and should never play in one again.

Harsh, with what he has delivered over the years - it's not as if many other England players have 'delivered' at the major tournaments IIRC? Not his greatest fan, but his goals record is impressive and he always puts in a shift for his country.
