Well I hate to break it to you but there are methods of terror and destruction and these are often made in the name of Islam

Glad you think so (I’m not btw) but you’re the one who made the claim - you don’t have anything to back it up?

In my time, I’ve never seen such a gulf between the left/right political paradigm.

Total division. No ground in-between to work from, the sides have become irreconcilable to the point where nothing can be discussed without resorting to the absurd mud-flinging of ‘right wing extremist!’ or ‘you woke imbecile!’

Crazy, crazy times. For someone like myself anyway, who ascribes to none of this divisive, manufactured partisan-ism.

Though, I guess someone will twist this and call me a bigot. Or indeed, a closet snowflake.

In reality, most people aren’t like that. A lot of is whipped up by the media though and culture wars.

I’m sure I can try

ISIS propaganda urges terrorists to stage knife attacks

There's a chilling new offensive by ISIS terrorists: propaganda in an ISIS publication is urging jihadist sympathizers to stage knife attacks in public places.
abc7chicago.com

There is also beheading but I guess in Lee Rigbys case the murderers confused him with an animal ready for slaughter.

Beheading people from ‘front to back’ is common with Mexican drug cartels as well as in these terror attacks

Ahh yes organised crime is another area that’s waged terrorism with bombings against the state in Europe as well.

Aren’t they urging this for tactical reasons, rather than ideological ones?

I don’t see why there’s anything inherently “Islamic” about stabbing attacks, and Islamist terrorists often use other methods anyway. It’s the kind of generalisation that makes the games of Guess Who that break out on here every time there’s an attack somewhere in the world so cringeworthy.

Not 100% on this, was unconfirmed an hour or so ago on twitter?

Tbf, two stab wounds to the neck is never going to end well. At least the "bearded man" was protected though.

Seems certain he died, mentioned in quite a few sources.

Confusing what happened, seems the guy attached this German, who fought back and then the Cop subdued the German seen here allowing him to get stabbed.

I'm not sure but I think the cop is on top of a victim there, possibly the speaker trying to give assistance?

Are we finally agreed that this was an Islamic terror attack then?

RIP to the German old Bill.

How many more?

It's awful, but I don't think it's helpful to be point-scoring and there is absolutely nothing wrong with authorities taking their time before they announce things and not just jump to conclusions (as happend in Australia).

There is obviously a problem with Islamic extremists. Everyone knows that. I just don't think it wise at all to start making sweeping statements about Muslims in general.

I don't know what the answer is and I am not sure we can ever stop it, not unless you kick every single Muslim out of the country and then none of us ever go abroad on holiday again.

One of my very best friends is a Muslim and she is one of the nicest, most wonderful people you could ever meet.

There is definitely a problem amongst some factions though.

That's 100% intentional. You wouldn't word it that way if it wasn't to shift attention to the "rally", rather than an absolute lunatic butchering people.
