Not much rest for George. Part of Wales' squad for the Toulon Tournament. First game on the 30th against France, believe all the games are on Eurosport. No doubt plenty of scouts will be there, very prestigious tournament.

Cian Harries has also been called up following a few pullouts.

An impressive tournament for either of them, could see bigger clubs sniffing around

Not a good sign that he's still to sign a deal for next year and here he is about to put himself in a big shop window. Do well and the sharks will circle... let's just hope MR is up to speed with his options.
I'm sorry George I hope you have a average tournament but enjoy the experience away this time around.

Good game that was. Wales played very well and should have won. Got some promising players there.

Thomas was quiet, had defensive duties to carry out because of the possession France had. Always on the move though and created Wales' best chance where the #6 really should have scored.

Harries, classy as ever. Risk taker. Willing to carry the ball an extra 5 yards to advance his team up the pitch quicker & draw a player out of position. Whether he has a part to play under Robins or he'll be sold to a big club this summer remains to be seen.

Anyone have a idea of players who have left a club of similar standard/length of time been at the club and compensation fee received by the club who lost there player who was under 24?
What sort of fee do we realistically think would be awarded?
Unless he goes to Scotland or abroad and then CCFC receive nothing!

Looking at some previous cases I'm saying we will get around a base figure of 200/250k with various add on's which are appearance related and sell on clauses too.

So could end up being 400k plus with extras

To be hyper critical of his first goal, he obviously took it down on his right with the intention to slot it home with his right foot, but got an unlucky (or lucky depending which way you see it) bounce off his sausage to tee up the strike with the left foot.

No doubting the quality of his reactions though

Yep-that's how I saw it-made a bit of a mess of it originally but great recovery and reactions to put it in the onion bag.
