Just watched this, i have to say it brought many a tear to my eye.
RIP big man, your a true legend (and now your family).
Very dignified and strong family, to be able to say what they did and go through it all for the CCFC Fans.
When my Mrs passed away i could never have done that.
Special love to a special family xxx RIP George and best wishes to your family xxx

There is a generously spaced obituary of George in The Times today. Behind a paywall I guess (I saw it in the paper version).

Those unaware of just how totemic a figure he was in our history might find it interesting

One of my favourite chants will always be 'George and John's Sky Blue Army'

I witnessed the George Curtis Coventry career from about 1961 nothing too much praise wise can be said of him and fittingly was team manager for our greatest day.
