Sadly can't find one with them and Big Cyrille..... which would combine 3 heroes in 1 !

You could literally have that with the bench too.

Just awful and by any measurement. Is it still there?

No got taken down in 2013 after much fan hatred and got moved to National Football Museum in Manchester before the 'allegations' about Jackson came to light. I'm hoping its now been incinerated for his crimes and crime against art! I'm sounding a bit sad there and certainly not an expert on football statues

Should be in Broadgate, in case we leave the Arena again.

This is a fantastic idea. Surely the statues should be based on an
image taken during their finest hour rather than one taken 20-odd years later though?

Yep, this is the one we need.

Needs to be at the stadium for me. If we move in future to a permanent ground then it should be moved with us.

Sounds a great idea Pete. I have neither the time, energy and probably most importantly the skill set to get involved personally but can I politely suggest should it happen it’s based on this image

Yes, but maybe they could do it from the waist up. Save a lot of chiselling around Big John's midriff region.

Yeah I had heard it was at the National Football Museum and kept an eye out for it when I went up there earlier this year but no signs. As you said, hopefully its been disposed of now!

Got a few options there

Could place on an actual bench as Nick said, in the memorial garden. Or the one with the trophy, facing towards Wembley.

Would personally prefer the latter-always nice to be reminded of people at their happiest moments.

Can we do it massive at the car entrance to the arena so you have to drive under it like the Colossus of Rhodes?

Thankfully, the level of sculptor has vastly improved, since the Jacko monstrosity was created
