Heard his local party moaning this morning as he'd promised them last year that he'd stand for parliament again. Just goes to show that you couldn't believe anything that he said (in my opinion).

tbf I didn't realise he was 76 now.

Given he wasn't the most active MP 15 years ago, not entirely sure how useful he'll be for his constituents at 80.

Then again, they keep voting him in...
