I suppose, you may be right on the weed.

With the minimum wage, it'd only work if living costs remained the same, which would have to be enforced on employers. Otherwise you could be on £10 an hour, but bread is £3, a pint is £6, fuel £2/L etc

Why would the price of bread go up? Are you suggesting people on NMW have nothing to spend money on?

More money in people's pockets = more money spent on goods and services = more money in the economy = more jobs.

Obviously there's a limit but we are nowhere near it. Much like borrowing to invest really. We have an economy built around consumerism it'd be a good idea to have as many people as possible able to take part in it.

I agree that there are some stupid policies out there (funnily enough the absolute worst is from the party likely to win: banning encryption - both insane and impossible), but the two you've picked aren't them. Both would be workable and probably provide a significant boost to the economy.

As for who to vote for: here's a crazy idea - look at the actual people you are voting for to represent you and pick the one you like. You aren't voting for a PM, you're voting for a local rep.

Not at all, it's just an example. I could have used bread, milk, cakes, fuel, beer, TV's, cars....

Well if the minimum wage goes up, the cost of producing the wheat and flour goes up, the baker's wage goes up, the shop selling it offsets the costs to the consumer. Now, if the "big companies" took a hit on their huge profits, to offset the costs, it will work the MW being £10 an hour, but somehow I doubt that will be the case?

The only way people will be better off financially, is if wages rose and the cost of living remained the same. But this is very unrealistic as big companies won't want to take the hit, wouldn't you agree?

5 point margin of error on that poll too. Means it could be anything between a 15 point Tory lead and a 5 point labour one.

If recent events have told us anything, it's that the polls are about as reliable as a 'Rolex' watch bought of a Balearic lucky man..

So, the latest poll of polls is in, which is always good to look at. I think its getting closer to assume there are going to be major changes in West Midlands Labour including their Coventry branch.

Is there such a thing as political redundancies for MPs and councillors of the right wing of the party or do they just get asked quietly to step down?

If they lose at a general election they get a pretty decent package to adjust to non-Parliamentary life.

That's bollocks - he said he condemned ALL bombings. If you can't understand what that means the issue is yours.

He was asked a question "will you condemn the IRA" why did he say no I condemn all bombings? As far as I'm aware Mr Corbyn has not ever attended funerals of Ulster Unionists has he?

Even Alan Johnson laughed on This Week when asked about it. It's a known fact Corbyn was an IRA sympathiser - if that sits well with you that's fine.

So the word ALL is not good enough for you?

Terrorism doesn't sit well with anyone - for you to suggest that Corbyn defended the killing of innocent people is nonsense.

Really? Why was he arrested once at a rally in support of Patrick Magee, why did he campaign for better prison conditions for convicted IRA murderers, why did he attend the funeral of the dispicable Bobby Sands.

For someone who condemned all bombing he seemed awfully pally and supportive of well....bombers.

HAHAHAA! He said he condemned bombing in all forms. I'm happy to debate with reasonable people like Earlsdon but you're just an antagonistic prick.

The same Jeremy Corbyn that announced he'd increase police officers, armed forces and commitment to military spending a week before the atrocity in Manchester?

Armed forces don't necessarily have to be used for war. They can be used for peace keeping and I think that's the sort of role JC has in mind.

You're right, but an increase in military spending on an army that won't be used? Seem's a waste of public funds, surely?

Our army is under equipped. Equiping then properly in preparation to defend innocent people and prevent conflict is what I think a modern professional armed forces should be used for.

It depends to what degree. I think we need to use the balklands in the 90s as a model. Use armed forces to protect civilians and engage when hastily forces try and interrupt.

I'm going to stop now 92 I've had a drink and I don't want to be a prick. Have a good evening mate.

But he was left dumbfounded when he found out they were actually words from an article by Boris in 2005.

Tory slates 'Jeremy Corbyn quote' - then awkwardly realises who actually said it
