So would do two and a half.

Would think he would be sued for damages which is going to potentially ruin a life for good with that amount of money.

That’s pure bollocks. I can buy non geofenced drones off amazon right now and could build one before it arrived anyway. Most off the shelf drones don’t even have GPS (though not sure if this has been sighted as a professional >1.5kg quad or not which do have GPS, but older ones often don’t)

Agree it’s pre planned though. Flight time is usually around an hour max so they must have a load of drones/charged packs waiting to keep it up that long.

Dollars to doughnuts it’s a teenager (or a few). I bet they’re either never caught or let off leniently.

I’d be more worried about copycats TBH. Such an easy thing to do and it’s now shown how hard it is to catch. I got to say if I was 15 I’d be heading to Birmingham International for shits and giggles.

That's the thing, not so much copycats who want to piss about. People who have more drastic things in mind than being a nuisance for a laugh.

What happens if they were to be waiting for a plane to be taken off and just kamikaze a drone into it?

Said to a guy at work, ISIS must be kicking themselves seeing the chaos this has caused compared to your average twat with a machete.

Fuck me, what a bunch of useless cunts in charge of this country. Probably too scared to knock it out of the sky in case someones feelings get hurt in the process.

I'm not usually one for conspiracy theories but I see German and French airports are now under alert after a credible terrorist threat. I wonder if Gatwick is also a potential target and all this drone nonsense is just a way of getting planes out of the sky whilst the threat is contained whilst causing only disruption rather than panic? It just seems so far fetched that a drone can cause so much of a headache for so long. Spotters would surely have been able to track its origin and have the matter resolved by now.

Something doesn't quite add up about this. No way is it kids pissing about.

The news coverage is weird as well, like there's something they've been told not to say. Only one conclusion.

I’ve only seen one video of it as well.

In this day and age somebody would have snap chatted a video of them riding the thing by now!

Doesn't add up does it? Nothing happens without it being all over social media these days yet you can have a drone flying around all day keeping an airport closed and there's nothing.
