The girls at school tell me lots of older Asian men add them on Snapchat and all of them have a story about Turkish men if they ever went on holiday there so I have no doubt it is something worth being mindful of.

But also the fact that she’s very obviously under age and these guys are in their 20s and 30s, she just doesn’t get approached by any white guys in the street really. I think there’s generally a more outgoing culture in pretty much anywhere else that can put Brits ill at ease. I think we’ve only just started managing to get British men not to catcall and the like and still haven’t achieved that so invariably bringing in people from less equal nations will set that back. And the fact that brits seem to have basically abandoned the streets so the numbers are skewed. I’d have been wandering the streets as a teen on a day like today, no doubt making the odd woman uncomfortable, but mine is sat on WhatsApp in her room.

It ain’t amusing at all. My eldest is 17 and starting to get a lot of attention from “men”. In the last couple of weeks alone she’s had 2 grown white men stop their cars, try to chat her up and then get the arse with her when she tells them to get lost. In her words both Tate like disciples, both in their late twenties early thirties behaving like they’re entitled to her attention.that is one of the funniest things I’ve ever read.
