He is on trial at Crewe, played in the PL last year for Leicester, always been a decent player whenever I've seen him. Hopefully he's one we may be interested in.

Would make a few Bob with his name on the back of kids shirts, unless they went for the abbreviation.;-)
Would be grand at this level though IMO.

How fat will he have to be for them to find him guilty?

Think he'll be up for a long stretch at HMP Slade.

No goals last season, 8 goals in the last 3 years. Judged on a good season 4-5 years ago. Sounds right up our street.

I was thinking if he did a long stretch they might not quite notice how fat he is.

He'll bring a certain 'presence' up top that some have been requesting.

Not a chance id have him here!

Just yesterday I tried to sign him on loan on football manager and the tosser turned me down!

Although TBF, I did go a bit 'Steven Pressley' and began trying to sign anyone and everyone just to save my job.

I too went on to get sacked before the season was out.

But what was Coventry's loss was Bristol Rovers gain. Up The Gas

Does anyone play FIFA (excuse the language) on career? I used to love it but they ruined it the last couple of years by taking away overall player ratings... I still play FIFA13 sometimes as it was the last good one!

Well the last one that was released - 2015. Only just got it myself as haven't had a laptop to play it on for years so it's like I'm an amateur again

Did try to do something about his weight by cutting off part of a finger on his right hand.

Why would it be? We're hardly in a position to attract anyone better.

As your user name suggests you have a thing for slow old crap forwards but this would be akin to when Gould decided to sign the immovable object Bob Latchford.

He's rubbish.

Though there are others I'd prefer to see here ahead of him, I think some people need to remember we're a League One club and that we may soon be in a position where we need to sign someone like this if Mowbray can't get the loans he wants...
It's all very well having skilful players like Maddison and Lameires, but if no-one up front can hold the ball up for us we'll just be under a lot of pressure when attacks break down constantly...
We could do a lot better than Taylor-fletcher, but we could do worse too...

Bob Ltchford in a City shirt.

It was tragic watching a once great footballer lumber about like a Sunday League veteran.

I think he'd do a good job for you. Always gave his all when we went up and although looks cumbersome, is quite a skilful and clever player. Just doesn't look match fit....

Was on loan at Millwall last season lads but I was on about when we got promoted. Did a decent job when required, never let us down and got Joey Barton sent off lol. His physicality is rather deceptive and he is quite mobile. I liked him

Always good to see Mr Barton in a bit of trouble. A player we all love to hate like savage and wise (unless they play for you). I did like GTF when he was at Blackpool. Has he still got the legs and motivation for doc 1 football. That would be my concern as well as his wage expectations

3 in 20 for Leicester in your promotion year, 0 in 14 on loan to Sheffield Wendesday and Millwall last year. I think I would pass on him to be honest.
