For some bizarre reason I can’t remember this .... can someone jog my memory please?
We were 3-0 down away from home, in the JPT area final second leg, (if I remember) and late in the second half we pulled it back to 3-2 and Crewe were on the ropes. City were all over them, their defence was at sixes and sevens, We got a free kick just outside the box, and Mcsheffrey grabbed the ball,...... all he had to do was put the ball in the box and give our strikers a chance.... the crowd went silent,... time stood still.... i put down my pie ..... sheff stepped up....... he hit the first defender, the ref blew, and we were out the cup!For some bizarre reason I can’t remember this .... can someone jog my memory please?
