McAllister's methods from the Dark Ages.

The training methods of former Coventry City player and manager Gary McAllister who is currently first team coach at Aston Villa, have been slammed by Richard Dunne.

According to an article in today's News Of The World, Dunne was so angry on Friday at the lack of imput from the Leicester supporting Scot, whose managerial career at Coventry City is best consigned to the history books, that he ripped into McAllister calling "the training a joke" and saying that "the tactics were desperate" and halted the training session just after noon, the day before Villa took on West Brom.

The paper claims that Dunne has the full support of the Villa dressing room and that sources at the club are claiming that McAllister's training methods, which included sending players he didn't want to train up the Memorial Park during his time at Coventry, are 'something from the Dark Ages'
