Just seen has left Cardiff by mutual consent.

Didn't do too well for them by all accounts.

Worth grabbing on a free if we could afford his wages?

Well that depends, how many arrests/convinctions for assault do you need before you are considered a trouble maker?

Why? Nowhere near as good as Biamou, so what could he add. Wasn't great on his first visit!

I hope that's a joke, he's a better player than Biamou as his career record suggests.

He scored 3 goals in 10 games

I assume the Biamou comment is a joke

Yeah I can, thought he was OK in both spells albeit very young in his first. The second time he was playing in a very poor side indeed but did OK. He's a better player than Biamou who is hugely overrated on here.

People banging on about wages is rediculous, he's just LEFT Cardiff, therefore he is UNEMPLOYED, therefore he's on NO WAGES.
Whatever he was on before is totally irrelevant now.
FFS, I give up, some people are clueless.

However, I still wouldn't have him back.

Even if he halved his wage demands it would be too much for us and most clubs at this level, he's not going to accept a vast drop when he's 29 and really in his peak earning days.

Madine’s record in the Championship is similar to Biamou’s at L2. In L1 his record is about 1 in 3 - I can’t believe he’s actually being compared to Biamou

His record in the Championship is very similar to Biamou’s at L2.

In L1 he has around a 1 in 3 record

That changed from “Gary Madine the goal machine” as he banged a few goals in at some point for them.

Cardiff paid a big fee for him which they have written off? What a waste. I didn’t think he was very good, particularly second time around.

They paid something insane like £6m for him, quite a sum to write off for them.

Presumably he’s had a decent wedge to pay off his contract also.

Yeah you'd think so. I remember thinking it was a big fee at the time considering he'd not exactly been hammering them in.

Id doubt City could match his wage demands but even if we could he surely isn't match fit which would be a big risk to take on a January signing
