Dont set the expectation too high. He is ok and has scored a goal following an ok debut. I am interested in how he performs tomorrow though in our home environment.

Is he even playing though? Ear infection?

Gardner was substituted due to an ongoing ear infection which had obviously affected his performance against Pompey

This lad is good.

I hope that some of our fans remain supportive of him while he is wearing the shirt.

went to brighton and apart from the goal didnt do a thing despite what others seem to claim, he has no experience of mens football so dont expect too much. but to sisu and thorn remember he is a premiership international. pathetic

I'm looking forward to seeing him play,if he's playing at the tip of this great attacking diamond formation that AT plays every week.he's got to be a bit better than all the other crap I've been watching all season perhaps we might even score more than 1 goal.We will need to as I can see them scoring more than 1.

I thought he played well against brighton to be fair.

Went to Pompey and barely did anything of note if I'm honest, he was the correct player to be substituted (albeit down to this ear infection) as McSheffrey looked bright when he came on
