I reckon Deegan will be a decent player for us next season, be like a new signing.
Was starting to look good the season before last, west brom an incester away stick in my mind. Weather he can fit into the diamond i dont know?

Where will he play though? He's not a holding midfielder, he not an attacking midfielder and he isn't really someone that could play more out wide. I can't really see where he will fit in.

Didn't AT say that the diamond formation wouldn't always work and we need a Plan B? Perhaps Deegan is part of AT's Plan B

I think so, I'm not bothered about Gunnarsson going if you could tell me Deegan would be fit this season.

Having both Deegan and Turner back will be like two new signings - although I see Deegan more as a back up to Clingan. He is very much a box to box player and could prove invaluable next year.

He will come through very strong under Thorn this year and I suggest that may be a reason Thorn will not lose sleep if Gunna does go....
