Think as usual fans are par-judging Deegan, if I remember correctly he got crocked not long after he joined us, ankle injury I think, was out a good while and came back too early and got injured again and never really featured regularly after. He's moved on, played regular and seems popular with fans,he'll do for me tough bastard in the middle of the park, to go with Doyle a nasty little bastard both know their way round it

Not sure his tough though? I'm not the only one who thinks his weak - why the heck he gave himself pit bull as a nick name must of been as he is the complete opposite !

As I said previously the type of player we need but not the type of person we want.

He might have mellowed out with age. Robins as his manager could help. If so then could be a good signing. It isn't as though he is a raging racist or similar.

Still won't get excited about signing him though.

He hammered JJ in his first game for Daggers as a 17 year old. Got booked of course

I remember seeing O'Donovan score in a pre-season game. Should have taken a video really, it'd be like the football version of that clip of Bigfoot wandering in the woods

If he signs as a squad player to rotate with Doyle it'll be a pragmatic signing, if he's here to play alongside Doyle in place of Bigi/Stevenson it'll be a poor one.

He's not a great footballer, but he might be the type of player we unfortunately need in L2.

Now had his Shrewsbury contract cancelled by mutual consent.

Whenever we have agreed that with a player they have signed for someone else next day. Suggests he has something lined up somewhere

Hopefully not lined up here we don't need any more midfielders of limited talent the side needs goals

Dont need him. Need more attacking players using the budget we have. Dm/Cm isnt an area of concern for me.

No point in signing a player who is going to miss most of the season due to suspension, waste of a wage

I hope not , low quality player and questionable personality fit for Coventry City.

I remember his performance at Bristol City 2012, dreadful.
Mark Robins surely knows this.

You no it's only a one match ban for 5 yellows and a 2 match for 10 yellows.
However I don't think he's a option for us now after the business we've done so far.
Someone else's problem.

Yes I know, but it's also a 3 match ban for a straight red for violent conduct, and what I can remember about him, he is a bit of a thug

He's only ever received 1 career red and 4 second yellow cards. So it's mainly one match bans he picks up.
That said your right he's not the most pleasant chaps.

I'm still not sure where he would fit, unless we were to play 5 in midfield or he would be on the bench every week.

Phew! I'm sure Andy Turner is glad he's not coming back as well given that he seems to mock his Pitbull nickname every time he comes back to play us!

Thank God...
Not quick enough
Not good enough
Not consistent enough
Not fit enough / injury prone
Didn't score many goals
Didn't create enough assists
Lazy / bad attitude
Crap beard

He was alright apart from that though.
