First & only job.

Didn't do a bad one in fairness.

Rather take a young hungry manager like him than someone after a last pay day!

As Han Solo would say, I have a bad feeling about this.

he must have had the biggest budget in the league ?

As a forum obsessed with budgets, doesn't that mean he performed as expected as opposed to being good ?

Would like rowett but surely he will go to a championship side. Cauldwell would be ok I think...well better than Venus. I think he would have a point to prove.

Give Matesx the job I remember him working his balls off to keep his family going when he was on GMK and I still remember him as a grafter.
More fellas like him would do our club no end of good as that's where we started from. Grafters and no real stars but people willing to get stuck in.

Gary Caldwell? Is that what we're left with? I'd rather have Gary McAllister back than him, and he was, if you'll excuse my French, fucking shit.

How does that link in with the OP?
I thought 77% of CT readers wanted JFH anyway?

With a just relagated team and a hefty budget, worlds away from where we are, but
Why not give him a go, I really don't think it matters one iota anyway.

I am guessing he is suggesting it would have been better for Tim Fisher to attend that interview announcing the arrival of JFH. As a new dawn.
Instead he is attending the interview on the back of JFH speaking to the owners and coming away concerned about the future so decides not to take the job.
