Not a rumour, only a question. What do you think getting him in on a 2 year contract and doing some coaching/playing?

All for banter but I think as a forum we're better than this! I'm sure no harm intended but this is a bit low.

Very good point, scraping the barrel there. Genuinely no harm intended, just my Frankie Boyle/Jimmy Carr sense of humour coming out. Sorry if I offended anyone!

Usually would be against signing ex good players but Barry is one I’d make an exception for if he would even consider us, kept himself in top shape

He's 39 years old now! Why only give him a 2 year contract? Let's get him signed up for 3 or 4 years so can get some sell on value.

If he played for us in his prime he would likely be our best player ever

True story. My two best mates are called Gareth and Barry. Barry is a keen Leeds fan. The other day me and Barry were discussing Gareth and I said to him “What do you think of Gareth, Barry?“ To which he replied ............

No thanks, good player back in the day (at Villa) but far too old for our squad, would be the same as the Doyle scenario.

Unless you have four hands, I don't think that is physically possible to be quite honest.
