Thought I'd make a thread for those of us that are gamers to post news, releases and for discussion.

Released tomorrow by Game Freak and published by SEGA, Tembo the badass Elephant!

Journey for the PS4 is out. If anyone here hasn't tried it, I'd highly recommend it. It's more of an experience then a game, but it's truly something different. It's won countless awards when it was on the PS3.

So after all that nonsense from Microsoft saying the next tomb raider will be an Xbox one exclusive, it turns out it won't: http://t.co/lZSBzSc5i2 hah!

The only time you'll get proper platform exclusivity now is when the game is published in-house.

they always said it was a TIMED exclusive

fanboy

That's not actually true. People have asked them, but they've always replied with "it's out on Xbox one this holiday.".

Also, I have none of the three consoles so, definitely not a fanboy :p
PC all the way.

Struggling to think of many hits these days that are platform exclusive. Halo and Little Big Planet are the only two that come to mind in the Xbox / PS field.

Nintendo have kept a pretty tight leash on their characters. There was talk of them moving in to the iOS games market, which I think would have been a great idea for them, think like Super Mario would sell shedloads, but they seem to be backtracking a little on that and instead allowed another developer to create new iOS titles with Nintendo characters.

That's the reason I haven't bought a console so far. Nintendo are terrible at the moment, and the other two have lacked the pull to get me to buy one.

Although, this British company are releasing a great collection of all their hits: https://youtu.be/iYbU1uKPaGU :)

Haven't played it myself, but there's seems to be a lot of positive feedback from gamers about a new game called Rocket League. Think football with customisable cars basically.

SEGA'S CEO has come out and said he's learnt a lot since buying Atlus games. Apparently they've realised how badly they've broken the trust and respect for SEGA as a company and are now hoping to regain that trust and respect with better quality in their games.

I really hope they do, as like many people in the UK and Europe, SEGA are and were great in the early days. It's only really been since they fell out of the hardware market times got tough for them. The Sonic games did start to get really good again with Colours and Generations and so did their other games. Valkyria Chronicles, Yakuza etc are good too.
