There's a nice symmetry with John and Daenerys both heading up armies made of outsiders in the same episode.

I like how they hint at the fact Dany has a bit of the Mad King in her...

I've watched it. I would really recommend avoiding obscure hashtags on Twitter.

Yeah, but with obvious questions about one scene with Bran and Hordor.

I know it's GOT and part fantasy, but can someone explain the Hordor thing!

He becomes Hordor when he's a boy and only says Hordor in reply to anything and everything anyone ever says to him for years and years and years because he knows he is going to hold the door in the future?

Bran was viewing a past event, heard Meera trying to wake him, and warged into Hodors mind through his younger self. It sent young Hodor doolally of course. It shows Bran can affect the past, but more than that, he can affect future events while there.
Just my take anyway, as you say, it is all fantasy.

There's a theory that his interference in a past event in Kings Landing is what sent the mad king mad....

It's a weird kind of butterfly effect thing I think. Bran had to warg into Hodor to escape but could only do it in the past as he was trapped. I'm guessing the Hodor 'trauma' was caused by this linking up of Hodor from past and present, given it was at the point of his eventual death.

I can see this linking up with other key events in GOT lore... How much is Bran ultimately going to be 'responsible' for causing?

So why were the White Walkers attacking the very people they were created to protect?

Looks like at some point after creating them, they ended up losing control of them. I'm sure there's an analogy to our world in there.

Quite how anybody can suggest this season has been slow has obviously not watched it previously. The pacing has been much better season, possibly due to the fact they are now ahead of the books. We have seen game changers in pretty much every episode, Bran going into the past, Bran having some sort of interaction with past events, Tyrion and the Dragons, Khaleesi getting the Dothraki's back on side. Sansa growing up, Theon getting back home, to possibly travel back to Winterfell and join the Starks.
