Was chewing this over this morning...so many incredible games to choose from.

Finely balanced between QPR at home and either of the Boro games, although Boro away probably my fave of the two.

The news of us buying the stadium came through on the day of QPR as well, so some day

Apart from that patch in the middle, where we seemingly forgot how to play football, for the majority of the season it has felt like a new experience watching the club. There have been games where we have been losing, and I genuinely have felt relaxed enough knowing we will probably turn it around. Even yesterday against Hull when they were all over us, I knew it would take something really special to actually beat us.

Personal highlight: Beating QPR 7-1, that was when I knew something was happening this season. Other honourable mentions: The 'Boro game away after our slump, and beating Millwall away 4-0.

3 contenders for me:

QPR home - with the news about the stadium and then 7 goals

Boro home - the turning point in our “dodgy run”

The one where we win the title!

So many special games and special moments.

QPR at home, Derby away, Boro both times were great. EMC’s acrobatic goal vs Stoke was phenomenal, comeback wins versus WBA and Charlton underlined our mettle.

The week we best Brum 3-0, Millwall 4-0 and Sheff Wed 5-0 felt very special. I think that gave us a +20 GD and made us early season contenders for the title.

QPR home
What an anniversary day on and off the pitch.
Waking up to that email was almost surreal

I think Sheff utd away was massive. Most of us would have taken a point (well I would) but to go up and win again, building on Boro and West Brom was big

QPR at home for the celebration of the CBS purchase and number of goals
Boro at home for the quality of the game at this level

Middlesbrough away. A genuine humdinger of a game and a superb advert for the division.

I'd agree. The QPR game for me went totally flat after the 2nd goal. Was only a matter of how many we scored with little excitement.

Smashing Borough, home and away has got to up there.
Although Leicester at home was excellent, along with Blues at home without Rudoni.
Derby home and away is also noteworthy, especially last week's victory as it felt destiny was within reach. (And it fucked their play off chances right up)

What a season, what memories!
What a time to be a sky blue!!!

Fucking love you Doug

Millwall away was special. More for the way things unfolded for us rather than the actual match, although that was decent.

Was that the first time we broke out "We're gonna win the league"?

In terms of games I’ve actually been to (non ST holder, got to pick and choose cause of work!), Millwall away was unbelievable. They didn’t even play badly, we were just ruthless and put a marker down for the rest of the division.

Boro at home, that was a comprehensive victory to knock them off their perch and settled everyone’s nerves.

The 4 games between us v Stoke and Boro were great because each results were huge and momentum swingers.

Beating Leicester is obviously a great moment, we’re starting to flip the script on them now. Were top dogs of the M69 now.

For overall vibes, agreed. A complete rabbit out of the hat from King and then the performance from the team. I’ve never seen us score 7 goals in a game and it’ll probably be a long time before it happens again.

QPR for me - Remember seeing an email from the club pop up on my phone and I just ignored it presuming it was the usual e-marketing/subscription newsletter spiel till my phone started going nuts, I did shed a little tear in all honesty and arriving at the stadium that day I just knew we were going to turn up on the pitch

Middlesbrough was one of only two away games I have not done this season so I was gutted to miss that

Southampton away and that battling performance in the second half was the day I realised that if a side ended up above us this season they would probably be the Champions

Can’t believe no one’s said Sheff U at home with The Enemy kicking it all off. That was such a special experience and then to go and win from behind was amazing - probably my highlight of the season.

Yes, I really thought The Enemy thing would be a bit cringe and could bite us on the arse but thought the club pulled it off magnificently and the players spared any potential blushes on the pitch

I drank the promotion kool aid stupidly early in the season, but Middlesbrough away was the game where I genuinely believed we'd do it
